These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Thickit (the "Service"), provided by Thickit LLC ("Thickit," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Thickit is business management software for service-based businesses — including customers, properties, scheduling, estimates, invoices, payments, and reporting. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
You own the data you enter into Thickit — including your business information, your customers' information, and all content you create using the Service. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of that data and for complying with any laws that apply to how you collect, store, and handle your customers' information. We act only as the platform you use to store and manage that data.
Thickit offers a free plan with limited usage, and a paid Pro plan billed monthly or annually. New accounts receive a free trial with full access before any free-plan limits apply. Pro subscriptions are billed in advance and can be managed or canceled at any time through the in-app billing portal; fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
If you use Thickit's optional online payment feature to accept payments from your own customers, a platform fee (currently 1% of each payment, disclosed in-app before you enable the feature) is deducted automatically in addition to standard payment-processing fees charged by our payment processor. We may change our fees, including this platform fee, with advance notice.
You can switch between monthly and yearly billing at any time from the billing portal. The switch takes effect immediately: moving to yearly bills you the prorated difference right away, and moving back to monthly applies any unused prepaid balance as account credit toward your future charges — it is not issued as a cash refund.
If you refer someone who signs up using your referral link, you'll receive one month free once that account becomes a paying Pro subscriber — not at signup, and not during a free trial. If someone signed up without using the link, they can still attach the referral afterward from Settings, but only before they've upgraded to Pro — once an account has converted, a referral can no longer be added to it. The reward extends your subscription's next renewal date by one month at no charge; it is not a credit, discount, or cash payment. The reward requires your own account to have an active, renewing Pro subscription at the time it's earned; if your subscription is scheduled to cancel, the reward is held rather than applied, since there would be no future renewal for it to extend. We don't automatically reinstate a canceled subscription to deliver a reward — if you later resubscribe, any reward you've earned is applied at that point. We may modify or end the referral program, or decline a reward we reasonably believe was obtained through abuse (for example, referring an account you control yourself), at any time.

Thickit, its design, and its underlying software are owned by Thickit LLC. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, branding, or source code. You retain all rights to the data and content you enter.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. You use Thickit at your own risk and are responsible for maintaining your own backups of critical business records.
Thickit does not provide legal, financial, accounting, tax, or other professional advice. Any information, estimates, calculations, or outputs generated by the Service are for operational convenience only and may not be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific situation. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any information produced by the Service and for obtaining professional advice where appropriate.
We do not guarantee that using the Service will improve your business performance, increase revenue, reduce costs, or produce any specific outcome. Any past performance or results achieved by other users do not guarantee similar results for you. You acknowledge that your use of the Service and any business decisions you make based on it are entirely at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Thickit LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or $100 if you are on a free plan).
You agree to indemnify and hold Thickit LLC harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your data, or your violation of these Terms.
You may stop using Thickit and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms or that we believe poses a risk to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, though we will provide a reasonable opportunity to request a copy of your data first (see Section 6 of our Privacy Policy), except in cases involving a violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
